Presentation

Outside, it offers a spacious cockpit open to the sea, with a dining table that can accommodate many guests , a relaxation area and a seat on the aft beam. The ergonomic helm station allows easy communication between the skipper and the crew. The wide aft skirts offer easy access to the tender and a safe boarding. In addition, the forward cockpit fitted with a sunbathing area offers additional living space.

The Lagoon 42’s rig is designed for increased performance . The VPLP hull and increased sail plan ensure a better sail area/displacement ratio, making it a fast and seaworthy catamaran. The set-back mast has many advantages, including a self-tacking genoa for easier maneuvering, a larger foretriangle offering a wider choice of downwind sails, a shorter boom for easier maneuvering and a wider mainsail at the top for better performance in less disturbed winds. In addition, the recentering of the weights reduces pitching, thus improving stability at sea.

Inside, the Lagoon 42 offers an intelligent distribution of volumes, fluid circulation and exceptional brightness . The cabins are well appointed, with double island beds for the aft cabins and beds with side access for the forward cabins. The aft cabins benefit from bathrooms with separate showers, and large windows provide beautiful light and a magnificent view to the outside. The saloon is spacious, with a perfectly equipped “U”-shaped galley facing the exterior cockpit. The interior design, carried out by Nauta Design, highlights the soft curves and offers a pleasant atmosphere to live in.
